yes they are, I studied this in college
The answer is conjunctiva.
Villi (plural). Pronounced "vill-eye".
The cornea is is the outer surface of the eyeball in front of the iris and pupil. It is the clear part of the front of your eye. The corneal surface is the most superficial part.
Typically, the word "blepharitis" describes inflammation of the eyelid, including inflammation of the lining of the eyelid. Technically, inflammation of that eyelid could also be called "conjunctivitis," but that word is more often used to describe inflammation of the bulbar conjunctiva, which lines the eyeball, rather than inflammation of the tarsal conjuntiva, which lines the lids.ConjunctivitisConjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva, the mucosa lining the eyelids and front of the eyeball.

You could simply put one shade of eye shadow or you could put a medium tone and then a slightly darker tone in the crease and a highlight or very light tone under the eyebrow. You could leave that the way I just described or add another eye shadow between the medium or dark colored eye shadow to go in the inner corner of the eye or the outer corner of the eye. This should counter act having wide set eyes or narrow set eyes. You could also use the medium and dark color without the highlight. You can apply eyeliner on top into the eyelashes all the way across the eye or only the outer corner, this creates a larger eye. If you also apply the eyeliner under the eye only the outer corner will create an illusion that your eye is larger. Eyeliner may also be applied under the lining of the eye or in the lining of the eye. Applying in the ling will make the eye seem smaller and under the lining will make the eye appear larger.
The medical term for the mucous membrane that lines the inner surface of the eyelids and covers most of the anterior surface of the eye is "conjunctiva."
TONS!!!!!!! You could simply put one shade of eye shadow or you could put a medium tone and then a slightly darker tone in the crease and a highlight or very light tone under the eyebrow. Mascara can be applied on top or on the bottom, or both. I hope that helps to answer your question.
