Mt:8:25: And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
You need to specify what is is that we need to compare the rise of Christianity in the Roman Empire to.
Atheism is not a religion. There is no need to convert to it, and no need to confirm into it.
You really need to narrow your question down a bit. A lot of Jews embraced Christianity, and, over the next several centuries, a lot of pagans embraced Christianity.
That answer depends on the religious views of the person answering it.
There are many different books on Christianity and you would need to specify what topic under Christianity you would like to research to narrow the choices. The Bible is one of the best sources because it is the Christian religious book.
No. Christianity and Religion were created by mankind to oppress the masses. You can believe in God, Jesus, whomever, without the unnecessary baggage that comes with religion.
Legal proof? Well there are many many converts to Christianity in India from Hindus & Muslims. In fact all Indian Christians were Hindus first. It was the British Missionaries who converted many to Christianity. If you need more proof visit your local protestant church and ask them.
Christianity. Need more info, google: Constantine, Constantinople.
Catholism, and Muslim
I don't really know that is why I need you to tell me the answer
Christians are Christians they need something to compare against in order to have similarities
True Christianity does not need 'capitalism' to exist and thrive. True Christianity does not feature pomp and wealth. True Christianity does not need 'tithing' mandated to it, to exist and thrive. Tithing was mandated for the ancient Israelites to care for their priests, who received no land-inheritance (other than 42 little towns and the surrounding fields.) True Christianity does not have a paid clergy with free residence, free vehicle, and a hefty retirement package. There's a difference between 'true' Christianity, and 'pseudo' Christianity. There actually is a Christian religion that does not tithe; has never passed a collection plate; and has no paid clergy; and does not accumulate wealth. But as your question exposes, -- much of religion, exists because of capitalism, tithing, and plenty of money. It is each ones need to search for something that's different; to being able to recognize the difference between 'true' and 'pseudo' Christianity. The question reflects that the questioner has not found it as yet; and unfairly throws everything into the same barrel.
