The nucleus is the most important part of the cell, because it holds all the information necessary to assemble every protein, enzyme and biomolecule needed to carry out every biological function.
If you want to compare it with an important part of the human body, you could say it's similar to the brain in some ways, because they both store large ammounts of information.
