The passenger headlight on my 2001 Mercury Cougar isn't working?

To replace a buld,the complete lamp assembly has to be removed.You have to remove the screws on both ends of the radiator grille and pull out the grille.Using a screwdriver remove two screws,one on the top and one on the side.There is a 3rd screw that you only loosen.The screws are not interchangeable and must be replaced to the appropriate location.Carefully pull out lamp assembly and disconnect the wiring connector.Opening the headlamp assembly:Release the wire clip on the rear of the headlamp assembly and remove the cover.For your low beam:turn the bulb holder counterclockwise and replace it.Do not touch the glass part of the bulb.You do the same for the high beam.To reinstall there is a thing called a locator pin that gos inside a bushing in the fender.Install in the reverse order of removal.Remembering ( the screws are not interchangeable )
