Not really. Live plants do some good to the water, but plastic ones do nothing. Guppies do not need or want artificial caves etc. Just follow the rules All species of fish (including guppies) must have their water looked after properly if they are to survive. The basic rules of successfull fishkeeping are. :- 1 inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water.( a guppy is a 1.5 to 2 inch fish, so it needs at least 2 gallons of water) :- Every tank must have a permanently running 'cycled' filter. :- Every tank must have at least 50% of its water replaced every week.

large stomach.
Depending on how fast the female grows, it could could get pregnant as young as 8 - 10 weeks old.
Your guppy will be pregnant if it has been in a container with a male since it reached maturity. A none pregnant guppy is an unusual thing. She will develop a belly and also when seen from behind she will have a dark spot visible deep inside her on either side of her vent. (the gravid spot)
Under normal circumstances every female guppy you come across will be gravid (pregnant). My advice is don't worry about it she will be pregnant.
It is probably excreta.
The average guppy is pregnant for 4 weeks! But they can b pregnant for up to 8 weeks at the most, one way to tell is to go to a local vet and check what stage ur guppy is currently in, or u can look up the stages online, it would help if u kept track of how many weeks pregnant she was!
yes a light is enough to keep a guppy warm just make sure you focus it over the whole tank
