The transmission on my 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan LE starting to go - Is it better to replace it or have it rebuilt - What would be a ballpark estimate of the cost?

about 2 grand to replace just had it done, I would also recomend replacing all mounts as well about 2 grand to replace just had it done, I would also recomend replacing all mounts as well Just had mine rebuilt at reputable local shade tree $800 with 1 yr warrantee, new T/C and he added an external tranny cooler to system.
