Depends. Did the threads tear out of the lid? If so, you could possibly drill it bigger, tap in new threads for an adapter and put a new valve in. Just checking, the gauge or the little rubber safety valve? If it is just the rubber safety plug, then yes, it should be possible to replace it. That's what it's there for.

How do you replace the ekg valve on a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu with a V6 engine?

If you mean the ERG valve which relates to emission, I recommend having a mechanic do it, but the valve itself is not expensive about $50.00. I let this problem lag on and it blew a cap called a diverter valve that has something to do with vacuum, dont wait like I did.

95 grandam q4 oil was running out O ring had blew replace the o ring on the dip stick test drove seal on oil filter blew replaced running fine what is the problem?

It's sometimes difficult to word the entire question in such a short space, but it seems like you're describing an engine that is building up crankcase pressure. Try starting the engine with the oil fill cap off, see if there is a lot of "blowby". That's when quite a bit of exhaust gas gets past the pistons and builds pressure in the crankcase. When that happens, rubber or neoprene seals are unable to hold back the pressure and oil will leak out. If the PCV valve is blocked it COULD be part of the problem. If you replace the PCV valve it MIGHT help, but if you still do that and still blow the seals, you have a more serious problem.

What are signs a car blew a valve?

Cars don't really blow valves per say. It can drop a valve or burn a valve. If it drops a valve, meaning the valve comes loose it will probably knock badly and the engine may not turn over at all if it locks up the engine. If it burns a valve, it will have reduced power and may skip or blow pressure back thru the intake depending if it's an intake or exhaust valve. Either way running the engine in this condition will cause more damage.

What would cause the ac pump to start squealing and then blow the low pressure valve evacuating all of the coolant into the cab?

Your compressor is going out. Probably you threw a piston in the compressor or the bearings in your clutch went out. If you put freon in before this happened you overfilled it and blew the seals.

Can coolant leak from the valve cover?

No, if there is coolant in your valve cover it'll be mixed with oil. You blew your head gasket, possibly warped or cracked your head. It may look like coolant is leaking from your valve cover but it's your intake gasket leaking.

Why do you not feel air?

You do. Ask the people in Illinois who's town blew down. IF IF you mean in calm conditions, than the answer is that your internal pressure exactly balances out the external pressure.

How do you replace a fuse on the Toyota Corolla?

Depend on which one you want to replace, and why need to replace? It blew out...? Usually it last almost for ever or the life of the car. But if any one blew out, it must be a broken wire that use that fuse. Any way just pull out the one need to be replace and plug in the new one at the same rate to place. If it blow out again; it has a broken wire that touch ground. So it's good idea to check its wire before replace new fuse.
