ok, for starters.. you probably shouldn't go out with her then, because it probably means that she is acting "cool" around her friends at school and is only wanting to be around you when they aren't around to see it. These girls are not the ones you want to be seeing, as it will only get worse down the track. Well she does like you but is embarrassed about talking to you at school in case her friends take the mickey out of her. Try getting to know her better out of school and build a relationship then she will not worry about it in school.
