First, the question is based on a myth. There are some anti-Obama websites that began circa 2008 to spread the false story that Mr. Obama was a "secret Muslim" who "hated America" and did not respect the flag. President Obama is a Christian, does not hate America, and all reports that he disrespected the flag are partisan nonsense. There are several older pictures of Mr. Obama not placing his hand over his heart, but the pictures have nothing to do with the flag-- they are pictures of him during the playing of the National Anthem. It is only recently (since 9/11/2001) that people began placing hand over heart during the playing of the anthem, but it was never required. So, the short answer is "No, there is not any picture of President Obama refusing to salute the flag," unless such a picture has been faked by his political enemies.
I pledge alligance to the flag
I think it's Jehovah's witnesses.
It means that you are pledging allegiance to the USA . . . the flag in this context stands for the USA.
Your question is obviously inspired by the famous Pledge of Allegiance:I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,And to the republic for which it stands...To understand these lines you should realize that you are not pledging allegiance both to the US and to the republic for which it stands; you are pledging allegiance to the FLAG of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it (the flag) stands. The United States of America is the republic for which the flag stands. They are the same. So you are asked to be loyal to a flag and to the nation that the flag represents.

Not enough light on the flag maybe... Are we supposed to pay attention to Obama or the flag?

The country can be more than respected but honored by pledging, serving in the military, and volenteering
Pledging allegiance to the flag is a symbolic expression of loyalty and devotion to one's country. It signifies a commitment to uphold the values and principles that the flag represents, such as unity, liberty, and justice for all.
