Simply tell him that you like him and say that if he doesnt that you understand and you still want to be friends. If he says that he likes you as well, great. go for it. if he says he doesnt feelmthe same way that you do, he will most likely still want to be friends with you. if the friendship is gone, it is not your fault. it is his and he is a jerk and didnt care about you from the beginning.
