Owning a cat or any pet is a big responsibilty and can cost thousands of pounds to keep during its lifetime (cats can live for 20 years), not only with food but veterinary treatment including neutering and vaccinations. Unless you are prepared to pay for this yourself, you cannot expect your parents to get a cat that they don't want. If you like animals, you could volunteer to help out at your local animal rescue shelter. That way you can make a big difference to the lives of lots of unwanted cats without costing your parents a fortune and making them do something they don't want to do. When you get older and have your own house and money to pay for them, you can have as many cats as you like!
Parents generally say 'no' to having pets because of the cost expense, and even when you say "I'll feed and walk him, and clean up after him", the parents still wind up doing all of the work for you.
Or they just don't think you're responsible enough for one yet.
Tell them that you hate living in that house???!!!
I hope you have your own house if you are 20.
you can earn the extra money buy doing choirs around the house ...
Maybe if you clean the house or something then you can ask them for the game and maybe they will give it to you. Or you can put it on your Christmas list.
You can try to tell them that you are so sorry, will never do it again, and tell them you know it was a big mistake and to please not tell them, but no guarentees.
You can convince your mother by doing chores and letting her know that you will be responsible for the hermit crab.
There is always risk of animals eating their young. In captivity is happens more often as the babies are confined to such a small area with its parents. This is why hobbyists tend to incubate eggs in a seperate container.
Show them that you are mature and can handle ANY situation with out their help. Take on some extra chores and help out around the house.
By doing jobs around the house and asking nicely while providing a reason why you would like another dog
you do really good things around your house and then ask them they will probably let you trust me i did this at least a trillion times
Try being extra nice and good grades...and also say "it's a good time to get out of the house" it also works with me
show them the house
