I am sure your father left his wife the home they live in, possibly some money, but, if you and your brother are in the Will (you should get a copy of that Will from your father's lawyer) then you will get what your father requested in his Will. It may not seem fair to either of you, but Will's are the last request of the person that is deceased and one should honor those wishes. There is one possible problem. Your father may have some material things in that house that he had when he was married to your mother. Your brother and yourself may want some of these items. It's best to seek out a lawyer's advice on this one. Marcy
