This window is double paned. Only the inside part got cracked and broken. Would I have to replace the whole window or can one pane be fixed?

Most newer double paned windows are air tight and sealed, and once that seal is broken humidity and moisture can build up between the glass. It is important fix the broken seal or have the whole window replaced.

Double glazing has an inert gas injected between the panes during manufacture - which aids the sound insulation properties of the unit. Once one pain is cracked - that gas escapes and is replaced by air - which is not a good sound insulator.
