Chemical Energy Transformations
Chemical <-> Light,
Chemical <-> Mechanical,
Chemical <-> Electrical,
Chemical <-> Heat.
-- Wind (moving air) (kinetic energy) ===> turns windmill ===> electrical energy
-- Gasoline (chemical energy) ===> makes car move (kinetic energy)
-- Battery charger (electrical energy) ===> charges battery (chemical energy)
-- Propane (chemical energy) ===> fuels barbecue (thermal energy)
-- Ribs from barbecue (food energy) ==> powers muscles ==> to run around the block (kinetic energy)
-- Battery (chemical energy) ==> used in flashlight (electrical energy) ==> lights bulb (light and heat energy)
an old steam locomotive:
burn coal (chemical)
heat water to high pressure (potential energy)
move cylinders (mechanical energy)
to move the loco (kinetic energy).
Body heat, sunlight, and radio waves are three examples of energy.
hey
One example is if a pen drops to the ground. The potential gravitational energy changes into kinetic as it falls, which then converts to heat and sound upon impact on the ground. Another is turning on the light. Chemical energy is turned into kinetic energy (steam) which turns the generator which converts to electric which is then converted to light and heat when you turn on the bulb.
1 is for positive energy, another for negative energy and the circle one to keep it grounded.
Radiation, convection and conduction
uv rays,gamma rays and x rays
Energy resources that can not be replaced are known as non-renewable. Coal, natural gas, and crude oil are three examples of resources of energy that once used, have gone for good.
a star, a thing and a thing
Oil,Coal,and Fossil Fuels
Screw you and your biology.
The three gorges damn, Hoover damn
Solar, wind, and geothermal. There are many others.
Examples are: - rotation and revolution of the earth - objects that are falling (free fall) - wind turbines waterfall falling rocks bouncing ball boulder on top of a hill
Oil, coal, wood, solar, wind, water (hydroelectric).

Rotation of turbine blades, genrator, pully, wheels, lever.
A roller coaster on the rails, water, still ball :D
Oil, coal, wood, solar, wind, water (hydroelectric).
You can transform thermal energy to electrical energy in a power plant, chemical energy to mechanical energy in an internal combustion engine, or nuclear energy into thermal energy in a nuclear reactor. These are just three examples.
