Three kinds of renewable energy:
Other kinds which can also be used are tidal and wave, geothermal, ocean thermal, biomass and biofuel.
Burn coal. Burn oil. Burn natural gas. Atomic energy.
hydro electricity, wind and solar
Such materials are known as "natural resources".
kinds of electricity? what is electricity?
The Southwest has many kinds of land resources. These natural resources include minerals, fuels, and forests. Here are some of them! Coal, gold, iron, oil or natural gas,and silver!:)
There are two kinds of tidal power stations: * Tidal stream systems, which use turbines turned by the moving water to generate electricity. Very like wind power. * Barrage systems. These are like dams built across rivers. After the tide comes in, the gates are closed. When the tide is low enough on the downstream side, the water flows through turbines rather like a hydro-electric dam. Barrage systems are expensive to build and maintain. They create problems for fish, swimming through the turbines, and they may encourage more sediment built up behind the barrages. If Tidal power stations are replacing fossil-fuel-burning power stations, then they are a positive effect on the environment. No carbon dioxide, obviously, is produced from tidal power stations. They are a renewable source of energy as long as the water keeps moving.

Your question is not correct. Renewable energy comes from natural resources that are NOT used up. That's why it is called renewable. Two kinds of renewable energy that can be captured to generate electricity are:solar powerwind power.
there are many renewable resources, for example wind is a renewable resource and so is light
There are many kinds of renewable resources from the ocean. One of these renewable resources includes any of the oceans plant life.
there are three main kinds of energy. these are renewable, nonrenewable, and inexhaustible. renewable resources are resources that can be replaced over time. non renewable resources are resources that can not be replaced in a reasonable time. inexhaustible resources are resources that are constantly produced.
There are several kinds of non renewable resources in Finland. There are fossil fuels such as petroleum, coal, and oil.
There is no single thing that is renewable and non-renewable at the same time. That's a contradiction in terms. Some kinds of wood (fast growing pine plantations, for example) are renewable, while other kinds of wood (teak and mahogany, perhaps) are non-renewable as they take very many years to grow again.
Wind energy and fuel made of corn.
Such materials are known as "natural resources".
Solar energy can be used to generate electricity, which will then drive machinery of all kinds, including vehicles. Most fossil fuel (coal, oil and natural gas) is also used to generate electricity.
Renewable energy comes from a renewable source, that is, that keeps on coming, like sun, wind, tides, ocean waves and geothermal heat (from deep under the ground).Non-renewable energy comes from burning fossil fuels like oil, coal, wood and nuclear power. When we've used them all, there's none left.So the renewable energy that we are harnessing is:Solar Power (using the sun to heat water and generate electricity)Hydro-electric power (from damming rivers)Wind Power (using wind turbines to generate electricity)Tidal Power (using the power of the tides to generate electricity)Ocean Wave Power (using the power of the waves to generate electricity)Geothermal Power (using heat from deep under the earth)Ocean Thermal Power (using the difference in temperature of surface and deep water) Biomass which is:producing biofuel like ethanol from vegetation.producing biogas by capturing methane (natural gas) from landfill sites and from animal and human sewage. * using vegetation to burn in steam generators. Burning it will release (very recently captured) carbon dioxide, but if we allow the vegetation to decompose it releases methane, a much more dangerous greenhouse gas.
Wind energy can be used to spin a pinwheel, generate electricity, ruffle a skirt or a flag, or propel a sailboat.
