Answer A timer is used to time things. For example if you think of how many truck there are rolling down our highways it would be amazing, but they are on a timer of sorts. They have to deliever on time or they get penilized for being late. Timers are used on inside and outside lights, there are tons of uses for timers.
One prominent application is this: Some circuits have an output impedance very high. If these circuits are coupled with another circuit of low input impedance, the desired functionality of the latter circuit will be drastically affected. Because the first circuit tries to deliver large voltage to the second and the second invariably requires small input voltage. To avoid the circuit disfunctionality, a buffer circuit (a circuit with high i/p impedance and a low o/p impedance) is used. Another application is in the delay matching. This is an advanced topic though. The technology is still new. In delay matching, the latter circuit requires a delay of say "n" seconds after the first circuit's output. A buffer circuit is used in such cases also. The circuit design is totally different than the impedance matching case.
Speed-Power-Product or SPP
Well as length is increased the delay will increase because the signal takes longer to travel to the destination, but i don't know exactly how much delay would be added. Keeping in mind that the RF signal travels at 186,000 miles a second, you will never see or hear a delay.
The delay line is used to delay the incoming signal vertical information and sync it with the horizontal. Old scopes used a series of LC combinations tuned to get a good waveform representation. The HP scope I had used a very very long coil of coax cable as the delay line and got much better waveforms than the LC delay line scopes could, but the coil of coax was bulky (about a foot long by five inches wide and 1.5 inches thick).
Timer relays are used in control circuitry. There are two main types, an (off delay) and an (on delay). If you want one device to turn off before the timer controlled device then you would use an off delay timer. If you want one device to turn on before the timer controlled device then you would use an on delay timer. When the timer is energized this starts the timer circuit in the relay to time out.
A relay is a kind of electrical switch which interconnects an electric circuit. It works using an electromagnet which makes or breaks a contact when a voltage is applied to the coil. It is activated immediately when voltage is applied. In a relay delay, the electromagnet is not energized instantaneously when a voltage is applied. It is activated after a fixed set of time or programmed time.Various types of delay mechanism are available, some fixed, some with variable time delay. The timing mechanism can be mechanical, motorized or electronic.
try using a 555 circuit
Short in circuit wiring or circuit overloaded.
wires may still be energized, delay until electrical system is isolated
A type of fuse variously called 'time-delay', 'slow-blow', 'time-lag', 'aM', 'motor start'. These are designed to protect inductive loads without blowing every time you switch them on.
You will have to get a prescription from your doctor to delay your next period with Utovian. When taken as prescribed, your period will not start until you stop taking the medication.

yes it has a rated time for making and braking the circuit
Two half adders, an OR gate, and a delay.
An All-Pass filter.
