well you might wanna put some air in the tires then so it will..
Added: One of the most frequently forgotten factors with this warning light is the fact that the SPARE TIRE has a pressure sensor too - and must also be checked and inflated to the proper pressure. If you have properly checked ALL tires and the light will still not go off, check the procedure in your owners manual.
The system can not be disabled.
I had a similar problem on my 2006 G35. All I had to do was check the tire pressure on all wheels and fill them back up to spec; the light went off by itself.
disconnect your battery and then reconnect. The light should reset and turn off.
A Lexus ES 350 tire pressure light will reset on its own. Tire pressure lights will turn off when the tire is at the proper pressure.
When my tire pressure light came on i just went to a local gas station and checked the tire pressure on all of my tires and made sure it was the correct PSI. If its not, just fill them to the correct amount and the light should go off. If it doesnt, take it to the VW dealership.. that's what i did.
First of all check the spare tire pressure.
On another web site it was suggested to increase the tire pressure on each tire to 40 psi one at a time to see if the light goes off. I did this on 1 tire and the light went off and stayed off when I reduced it back to 36 psi. Have not driven it yet to see if the light says off.
Your vehicle is equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that monitors the tire pressure of all tires except the spare. The low tire pressure warning light warns of low tire pressure or indicates that the TPMS is not functioning properly. After the ignition switch is turned ON, this light illuminates for about 1 second and turns off. Low tire pressure warning: If the vehicle is being driven with low tire pressure, the warning light will illuminate. When the low tire pressure warning light illuminates, you should stop and adjust the tire pressure to the recommended COLD tire pressure shown on the Tire and Loading Information label. The low tire pressure warning light does not automatically turn off when the tire pressure is adjusted. After the tire is inflated to the recommended pressure, the vehicle must be driven over 16 MPH (25 km/h) to activate the TPMS and turn off the low tire pressure warning light. Use a tire pressure gauge to adjust tire pressure to the recommended pressure. TPMS malfunction: If the TPMS is not functioning properly, the low tire pressure warning light will flash for approximately 1 minute when the ignition switch is turned ON. The light will remain on after the 1 minute.
first double check the tire pressure in all tires, to confirm there is no leak, also the spare may have a sensor.. then after all tire pressure is set. drive it for about 10 miles and it should kick off. If that does not, work,, again double check for a leak, and review the owner's manual. it may be a bad sensor, should have it tested at a garage.
It should turn off automatically after you put in the correct tire pressure. I just did this the other day.
Inflate the tire to the correct pressure and then drive the vehicle
No, a wheel bearing should not set off a low tire pressure light in a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero.
