Click in the cell you want to use.
Select the cell and go to Format, Cells and then Border. In the bottom right, you will see the color box. Pick the colour you want. Just above that pick the style of line you want as your border. In the main part of the dialog box, click the edges which symbolise the cell borders you want to change and then click OK.
Click in the cell where you want the information, and press = then click on the cell with the information you want and press return.
From within the spreadsheet - Position the cursor on the cell where you want the picture, click on Insert, then Picture, and click 'from file'. This will let you browse your computer for the picture you want to insert. once you find it - click OK. You can then re-size the cell to the dimensions you want.

Right-click on the cell you want to format and click the Format Cells option.
Click on the cell that you want to take formatting from. If you click once on the Format Painter, you can then click on another cell and it will receive the formatting from the other cell and the Format Painter will be deactivated. If you double click on the Format Painter, then it is turned on until you click on it again, meaning you can apply formatting to lots of cells.
You can click on the particular cell that you want to use in the formula using the mouse. You could also type the name of the cell if a name for the cell has been specified though it would be longer than the cell reference.
You click on the multi tool then click the recycle option above it and then when the recycle tool becomes your cursor you just click on what you want to delete.
If you use the Autosum, Excel will try to detect cells that are above or right of it. If there are figures both immediately above it and immediately right of it, then it will try to sum the ones immediately above it. However, using the Autosum you can select a block of cells and Excel will put totals at the end of them, again opting for the bottom if columns of cells are involved, so you could select a row of values or a column of values. You can also just manually type in the cells you want to sum.
