People who already disbelieve in God's existence believe it to be so.
People who do believe in God believe it not to be so.
People who believe in the one true God of The Bible would agree that to believe in 'a god' just any god, would also involve a 'suspension of rational thinking' as well as other things consequent upon that.
Rational thinking does not automatically, as some assume, cause one to disbelieve in God. For example Johannes Keppler, Galileo, and Newton all believed in God. In our own day Dr. Damadian, the inventor and patent holder of MRI, which saves lives, is a believer in the personal God of the Bible. No-one would fairly suggest he is therefore not rational.
Disbelief in either God or gods is a personal belief choice to which all are welcome.
