Stop eating any dairy except eggs. Replace milk with soy. You can also use soy garden or other fake butter until your weight goes down. Avoid cheese until the weight goes down. Also eat LOTS of vegetables. It takes more veggies to feel full than meat or carbs but don't worry if you dont feel full its ok- you can eat as many as you'd like. Also try switching from white flour carbs to unbleached whole wheat (make sure it says whole wheat not just wheat.) In terms of portions the goal is 3/4 veggie and 1/4 meat/carb. It sounds hard but you can eat AS MUCH AS YOU WANT as long as you have that proportion. Also make sure you eat a healthy breakfast every morning. That keeps weight down too and smaller meals several times a day is better than 3 big ones. Also snack on raw nuts and candy free trail mix. (You want way more nuts than granola in there- granola contains a lot of sugar. Nuts before meals will make you feel fuler too.

Start walking at least 4 times per week. My doctor says people want quick fixes, but is no real big secret to weight loss, you have got to increase your activity and eat less. When shopping park further away from the door, take stairs instead of elevators and escalators, walk when you can since walking uses all muscle groups.
