whats the ring gear torque specs in a 10.25
For a Fort F250 from 1986, most vehicles have a recommended torque of 140 foot-pounds. This has increased for later models of F250, to a current 160 foot-pounds.

Don't bother with torque specs, rust and worn bolts can make the torque innacurate. Just make nicely tight with one hand on wrench (DO NOT STRIP, A 12-POINT BOXED END WRENCH IS GOOD ENOUGH). You can also put anti-seize on bolts (only a little)... you never know if you will be the next person that has to remove them.
Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information ( VECI ) decal located in the front of your engine compartment ( it will show the type of spark plugs to use and the spark plug gap )
I did a Google search of the 1997 Ford F-250 and a couple of websites show ( 245 horsepower ) for the 7.5 liter / 460 cubic inch gasoline engine but they don't show what the torque is
The torque seguence is in workshop manuels. If you dont have a shop manuel, you can go to a Ford shop and ask them to photo copy a diagram from their book for you.
