∙ 9y agoA big advantage of a machineâ??s main memory over Magnetic Disk Storage is that it has a greater speed in processing data. Another advantage of it is the durability of it because there are no moving parts that might break.

∙ 9y agoDisk storage is nonvolatile, meaning data is not lost when power is turned off. Also, disk storage is by far cheaper per unit compared to main memory.
