Increase the density of the gel. This will slow down the denser fragment while speeding up the less dense fragment. The down side is that the denser fragments near the beginning of the gel near the DNA well will be seen as a single band.
not too sure, but I'm thinking that you could reverse the polarity for a short while, causing the DNA fragments to move backward and separate the two fragments

Probably becasue it is in another part of the sky.There is a mythological significance to this, but since it's just a made up story, it has nothing to do with the actual reason why, which is that the two constellations are very nearly opposite each other in the sky.
No, there will be no tsunami anytime soon.THUMBS UP (;
All of the frequencies emitted by the source would appear higher to me, all of the wavelengths would appear shorter, and anything that was visible to me would appear shifted toward the blue end of the spectrum, compared to what it was when it left the source. If, as you say, the source is approaching me at nearly the speed of light, then the 'shift' will be extreme. What left the source as radio waves might be visible to me, and what left the source as visible light might appear to me as hard X-rays or even gamma rays. By the way ... one thing that must be mentioned and appreciated is the fact that even if the source is approaching me at nearly the speed of light, if I measure the speed of the radiation from it as it sails past me, I'll see the radio, visible, X-ray, whatever ... moving past me at the speed of light ... 300,000 kilometers per second. Doesn't matter if the source is moving toward me, away from me, slow, fast, or sideways.
Earth, nearly.
You could use other enzymes or use a higher percetage of agarosa to make your gel (so they will have a better chance of separating).
Well child, you could increase the density of the gel and that would allow for the smaller of the two fragments to move farther, but keep the larger one of the two from moving just as far.

You do occasionally dream during NREM, but the dreams are not nearly as vivid as during REM and usually they are sparse, short and just fragments of a dream

Unless you are writing dialog and fragments or run-on sentences are part of a character's speech pattern, it's best to avoid them because they are examples of lazy writing. Writing anything assumes that you intend your work for publication. Your audience is unknown, but expects clear, legible sentences. Finally, if your work is to be translated into any other language, fragments and run-on sentences are nearly impossible to translate while maintaining the author's intention.
They appear to be similar in width because new crust formation is nearly equal on each side of the fault.

A varying shade of brown. Some are so dark brown they appear black at a distance, while other are nearly blonde.
