Lungs are most important organ of our body as they carry the oxygen to our bloodstream which is most vital function to keep us alive. There are certain lung diseases that affect the proper functioning of the lungs and pulmonary system.

Bronchitis is the inflammation of airways that carry air from the trachea into the lungs. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease attacking the major parts of the lungs.

Pneumonia is also an illness of the lung caused by the inflammation of the alveola.

Asthma is the chronic inflammation of lungs, wherein there is narrowing of the airways.
