It is not ideal to use any human medicine on a cat. While Vick's Vapor may not be fatal as most other human medicines, it is likely to cause the cat some discomfort, especially as Vick's Vapor smells incredibly strong, and a cat's nose is much more sensitive than ours.
If you believe your cat has a cold or is in anyway sick, the best thing to do is to take it to the vet where they can prescribe safe and effective medication for your cat.
