At the delicate age of 12 hormones are going, and boyfriends should be last on the list of things to do. I believe that celebrating Valentines Day at any age is alright, it just depends how.

When I was 12, we would do class valentine cards. Everyone would make a box, and then go around dropping cards into each box for everyone, with candy. Something of that sort would be very appropriate. However, dates are probably not appropriate.
