All I can tell you, which may or may not be of much use to you as I don't know much about these things, is that when I lived in Norfolk, I went to a country game fair where I saw a stand full of old guns of all types. To cut a long story short I went to see these people who had an office on the Sandringham estate - they were packing up for a few weeks annual jaunt to London - and Itook with me an old double barreled muzzle loader, number 2 of a pair made by Horsley. The valuer told me something of the gun's history and then added apologetically that it wasn't worth a great deal at all.
