Are the birds you're taking about domestic (your pet)? If so, I recommend you consult an avian veterinarian or experienced bird breeder who can give you advice on hand-feeding. WARNING: hand feeding baby birds is an extremely delicate process, and many inexperienced people with good intentions end up inadvertently killing a baby bird while hand feeding by means of crop burns (when the formula is too hot) or aspirating it (when the food goes down the trachea instead of the esophagus.
If it's a wild bird, the best you can do is LEAVE IT. Attempting to rear a wild baby bird is dangerous to you (parasites, bacteria/viral infections), and especially the bird. You will cause it more misery than good, even if you're trying to help.
mostly the mom would feed her babies. but when the babies are old enough to eat its food without it being regurgitated, the dad would break seeds for them and feed it to them.
They feed off they're mom's milk, but they can eat solid food when they are born.
Cook food. When my mom forgot to feed me I just made myself an omelette. Then I ate some nachos sprinkled with bean sauce. LIKE A BAWS
they let dad protect them then mom go get food and when babies are hungry mom puts it in mouth
ad parenting instincts they might feel threatened
No, if you leave the babies in with mom, or other guppies they will eat them. They see their babies as live food you would feed them. If you want any babies to survive, I suggest you separate them from the adults. (:
yes the babies still should live and if the mom is immature and wont take care of it like you no hang out with it or nurse it lay down with it and all you should consul with your mom and figure out what you should do
sometimes they eat cheese but they are mostly preferred to eat peanut butter and bacon. Wild mice do eat allot of things but if these wild mice are babies they wont eat the cheese they will feed of their mums milk
do the parent seahorses feed there babies
They won't feed their babies if they have a human scent on them.
I'm not saying I know, but probably not, because the mother will scratch you if you try and touch her babies.
All mammals Breast Feed there babies/children.....:)
