A Batanga is 2 parts lime juice, 3 parts tequila, a pinch of salt, and 4 parts Coca Cola, served on the rocks with a lime wedge. Personally, I find the lime and salt a bit strong. Most people seem to find the whole idea of tequila and coke disgusting. A quick Google on the phrase turns up mainly startled exclamations of nausea. But I rather like a tequila and Coke made a little more simply: Fill an old fasshioned (short and fat) glass with ice. Add two shots of tequila, top with Coke, and garnish with a lime wedge. I call it a Tijuana Trolley. It'll get you there.
