== == Look under your dash by your pedals you will see the main wiring harness coming throught your firewall you can put your wires through there or drill a hole and put them through
There are several openings through the firewall. If you are running wires, fish them through a grommet where something else passes through, making sure that they do not interfere with the gas feed or any pedals.
There should be a location where you can go through the firewall where other wires are already there. Piggy back on that hole. If not then just drill a hole through the firewall, being very careful not to drill into any wiring or components. Insert a rubber grommet in the hole to protect the wire, and then the wire.
Possibly a hole in the exhaust
check for rubber grommets in the firewall that already have something protruding through them if not then you'll have to drill a hole.do not run an electrical wire through bare metal hole because it can cause a short.get some grommets to put in the hole first then run your wire
just drill a hole the right size in the right place. go down to your local napa store and buy a rubber grommet to fit in the hole. the grommet will keep the wires from chafing. before you drill make sure you look at both sides of the firewall to avoid hitting something you shouldn't hit.
My 06 TJ has a rubber plug just under the main wiring cluster coming through the firewall. I just ran the wires through this hole and plugged it back up. Hope that helps!
When confronted with this dilemma (has happened many times) I look inside the egine compartment, along the firewall, for a rubber grommet which covers a hole, in the firewall, through which wires or cables have been routed, by the manufacturer. It's crude; but I loosen the grommet and verify that it cleanly accesses the passenger compartment, then I drill or cut a small hole, through the grommet, run the wires through, reposition the grommet, and, if necessary, put some rubberized sealant over the newly drilled or cut hole, to prevent water leaks into the passenger compartment. Works fine for me.
Drill a hole under the dash board on the passenger side then once all wires are going through it use Ultra black sealant so no water get ins
If you cant find an openening large enough then you can always drill a hole and place a grommet in the hole and then run the wire through the grommet. Hope this helps.
Your question is incomplete. You asked a question that is like, "Where is the hole in the Swiss cheese?". There are usually several holes and each hole has a specific item or loom of items running through it. For example, the speedometer cable may have a hole in the firewall for itself or the A/C lines have holes in the firewall for their passage.
