There are only 2 of the original Beatles left (Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr), and yes they are still active, in 2009 they both promoted the Beatles Rock Band. Paul is in a duo band called "The Fireman" and Ringo has his own band called "Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band". Though I don't think the two perform together anymore, but they are still good friends.
Pete Best was fired by the other Beatles, (actually their manager George Martin), and replaced with Ringo Starr in 1962. He was fired because he was only an adequate drummer and not good enough to play for the Beatles.
The names of THE BEATLES are: John Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr (aka Richard Starkey). Also in THE BEATLES were Stu Stucliff [(left because he was not that good a musician) and died from a brain hemorrhage], and Pete Best (fired and replaced by Ringo Starr because Pete Best was only an average drummer).
Ringo Starr would winKeith Moon is good but NOT as "unique" as Ringo Starr, I believe that Ringo could win in any Drumming Battles, as long as he can hold his drum sticks.
No. Not all of their songs featured drums or percussion, especially in the later years. Paul McCartney played drums on a few Beatles tracks, and replaced Starr's drumming on one of his "White Album" songs; Starr was upset, but let it go.
The Beatles tended to see each other as brothers. Sometimes they got along great, and sometimes they didn't. McCartney and Starr appear to be getting along just fine in recent years, though they have separate careers.
when the beatles first formed it was pete best who was the drummer, for some reason there are many speculations, but no one really knows pete best was taken out of the lineup and replaced by Ringo Starr
Well, if you ask me, I thought they were all equal. But if you noticed, in every single Beatles movie, Ringo is the star. Not just because his stage name is Ringo "Starr", but because he would've been considered the best. In "A Hard Day's Night" (1964) Ringo was the one who stranded away and the Beatles had to find him before the show started. In "Help!" (1965) Ringo was the one who had the ring, and had gotten kidnapped. In "Yellow Submarine" (1968) Ringo found the rest of the Beatles. And was a big part in discovering the land of the Submarines. So, there's your answer. The best actor was Ringo........but they were all good. and........Ringo starred in a movie long after the Beatles split. "Caveman" (1981)
ludwig's are really good. The same kind that Ringo Starr has
Off the top of my head, I can name all 11 Beatles songs that Ringo sang lead. They are:BoysI Wanna Be Your ManMatchboxHoney Don'tAct NaturallyWhat Goes On (co-written by Ringo)Yellow SubmarineWith A Little Help From My FriendsDon't Pass Me By (the first song he wrote)Good NightOctopus's Garden (written by Starr)He also sang backing vocals on many other songs. All four Beatles are also credited for three songs ("Flying", "Dig It" and "Maggie Mae")
The 2006 album "Love" remixed portions of "Good Night" (from the Beatles' White Album) with "Octopus' Garden" (from "Abbey Road"). Both songs were sung by Ringo Starr.
its very rare nowdays that Ringo will sign anything , hes very protective at this point because in good faith in past years he has signed only to see his autograph being resold by greedy dealers. so he will no longer sign anything via mail , and getting him in person is very tough.
