After the Russians took control of Berlin and the bunker Hitler had been staying in they found a couple of burnt in the courtyard of the bunker. Dental records supposedly confirmed that one body was Hitlers but it was never known for sure. For years the Russians claimed they got rid of what was left of it but it is now know that they kept Hitlers bones long after the war was over. Records after the fall of the Soviet Union confirmed that they did indeed hold on to Hitlers body but its unknown now where the bones are.

AnswerHitler's body and that of Eva Braun his long-term mistress whom he had married the day before, were partially burned with petrol and buried shortly thereafter in the Chancellory garden.

When Russian forces his mouth and pulled the trigger. His top officers wrapped the Fuhrer's body in a Swastika flag, and preformed a honorary cremation. Shortly after, the Russians busted through the door, and killed most the Nazi Commanders before they could grab a hold of their Sturmengehwers. The charred remains of the two were boxed up and sent into Moscow. There lies the ashes of Adolf Hitler. The Russians fail to admit the fact they're hiding it, because it's their trophy. If they mention him, an uprising will start sending through the message "You have no right to just keep his body!" So. in the meantime, Russia will undoubtly deny such a conspiracy.

ACTUALLY.... There was a documentary in 2008, The Russians allowed some American scientists to do a DNA test on the skull fragment . The results showed that the skull frag was that of a woman not a man showin that Eva brown 's skull was what the rusians had not Hitlers. And, It was never confirmed about his dental records because it was not him. They honestly don't know where his body is or where it went. There was however a two seater plane that left Berlin the night before the Russians broke thru. The pilot said that she was alone in the plane but who knows the truth. And his commanders did not all get killed after their leader the Furor died they didnt know what to do gerbles killed himself and his wife adn she poisoned her children from bein raped by Russian soldiers. So to answer the question no they don't know what happened to hitlers body after WW2

He was cremated, So his body was never found. The Russians claim to have Hitlers ashes though.

Edit: Is body along with his wife's were found partially burned, and Hitler's had a bullet wound in his head, but his wife had taken cyanide. The KGB had arranged for his body to be burned properly, and his ashes were dumped (it is also very possible Russia kept his corpse).

__________

After the Red Army stormed the Fuhrerbunker, they found Hitler's body - partially burned, but intact - in the chancellory garden. They took his remains (and those of Eva Braun, Joseph Goebbels, his wife, his children, and Hitler's dogs) and secretly buried them in Brandenburg, Germany a few miles from Berlin. The corpses rested there for about 25 years.

The Soviets - fearing worship of the makeshift grave by fanatical neo-Nazis - disinterred the remains, thoroughly cremated them, and scattered the ashes in the Elbe River. The Soviets claim to have kept a skull fragment (complete with a bullet hole that was consistent with Hitler's suicide records) that they believe belonged to him.

He committed sucide in a bunker to avoid being captured by Russians. Yes they did find his body, but what they did to it is a controversy. Some they it was charred, while some say it was secretly burried.

He had it burned

_____________

It is true that Hitler's body (along with that of his wife, Eva Braun) was burned in the chancellory garden of the Fuhrerbunker. Soviet records suggest however that his body was not completely cremated - it was charred, but still very intact.

They took up his remains, marched to Brandenburg, Germany, and buried the remains there. The rested there for approximately 25 years, but in 1970, they were disinterred and throughly cremated. The Soviets then scattered the ashes in the Elbe River.

So, now you know. All that is left of Hitler's thousand year legacy is sediment at the bottom of a river. He would turn over in his grave (Y'know, if he had one) if he saw the memorial stone at his birthplace of Braunau am Inn, Austria, inscribed with the words:

FÜR FRIEDEN FREIHEIT

UND DEMOKRATIE

NIE WIEDER FASCHISMUS

MILLIONEN TOTE MAHNEN

This loosely translates to "For peace, freedom, and democracy - never again fascism. Millions of dead remind us."

Lest we ever forget the attrocities man can inflict upon each other.

Yes. It was disinterred and cremated by the USSR about 30 years after they buried it. His ashes were then scattered in the Elbe River. And so ends his legacy.
