Hitler was Austrian, the son of Roman Catholic parents and had a Roman Catholic upbringing. Those stories about his having a Jewish grandparent (father's mother) date from the 1920s and were hostile Propaganda, intended to convey the message that he was a hypocrite.
As for legal nationality, he was born Austrian, but loathed Austria so much that he renounced his Austrian citizenship in 1926. This made him stateless, but in February 1932 the Nazi-controlled state of Brunswick made him a citizen. In accordance with German nationality law of the time this automatically conferred German citizenship.

∙ 10y agoNo. Adolf Hitler was not a Jew, not a partial Jew, nor did he have any Jewish heritage. There are rumors to the effect that he may have had Jewish ancestors, but no serious scholar has ever acknowledged the veracity of those claims.
