jefferson
Both Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton were important spokespersons for democracy, but they had different visions for the country. Jefferson advocated for a more agrarian society, championing individual liberty and states' rights. Hamilton, on the other hand, supported a stronger central government and emphasized economic development. Ultimately, the answer to who was a better spokesperson for democracy depends on one's perspective and priorities.
Although Hamilton disliked Jefferson he thought Jeffersons veiws, were better for the country
George Washington favored Hamilton over Jefferson because George and Hamilton were both Republicans
yes
because he was thought he was better then thomas jefferson so he went for the federalist party
alexander hamilton wanted a government only governed by few elite men while jefferson wanted it to be ruled by more so there was no corruption in the government. Alexander saw people as selfish while jefferson wasa a believer in the "common man"
They were each better for different reasons. Some of Thomas Jefferson's writings still inspire people today. Alexander Hamilton did more to create the foundations of our nation and to unite it...legal system, economic system, government system, financial system, military system, etc.
by making a better economy by helping others so that others help the them to make there economy better
hearts of course is better then hamilton
thomas jefferson was a better president
would it be better for the United States to have a direct democracy
Citizens elect leaders who vote on the issues in a representative democracy, and citizens vote on the issues in a direct democracy. A representative democracy is modern, and a direct democracy is ancient. A representative democracy works better in large groups, and a direct democracy works better in small groups. Citizens' desires are ignored in a representative democracy, and citizens' desires have a better chance of being heard in a direct democracy
