No, King David's father was Jesse (Ruth 4:22) (1 Chronicles 10:14)

There is no mention of an 'abimadab' in The Bible.

There are four Abinadabs, however:

*The man who stored the Ark of the Covenant for a time(1 Samuel 7:1)

*Another son of Jesse (older brother of David) (1 Samuel 17:13)

*One of King Saul's sons (1 Samuel 31:2)

*The father of one of King Solomon's deputies(1Kings 4:7+11)
