Malala went to school, got an education, and spoke up for other girls to be able to do the same. She had received threats, and new she was becoming a target. However, it was something that was important to her, and she continued. Malala was shot in the head, but survived. Even after being shot, she continued to be an activist for change. She knows that by doing so, she could still be a target, but she is using her circumstances to help get the word out.

MALALLA Yousafzai started speaking about education rights as early as September 2008, when her father took her to Peshawar to speak at the local press club. She was born in 1997..meaning she was just 12 years old. She was inspired by her own fatrher an educationist, a writer and a school owner. Her motivations come from inspiration she took from M A Jinnah (father of nation Pakistan) and Benazir Bhutto (ex prime minister, assasinated).
