Nationalism is a concept invented by politicians to take advantage of the differences on people from different regions. these differences can be in Dialect, language, religion, colour, etc. For example I am proud to be an American, I am proud to be an African American, I am proud to be an Australian. the list goes on for ever. The fact that people in isolated areas have different and sometimes conflicting interests at a given point in time can be put to use by clever politician to pit people against each other. The majority of people being ignorant of what really takes place in the background is often misled using the so called nationalistic line that has always proved effective. A Nation is the result of the enforcement of a border. Greed after the goods of others was responsible for ww1.
