Richard Heron Anderson commanded a division for the Confederates at Chancellorsville.Normally part of Longstreet's I Corps, Anderson did not follow Longstreet to southeastern Virginia , and remained with Lee around Fredericksburg.During this battle Anderson's and Wilcox's divisions along with E.Porter Alexander's artillery battalion were under the direct command of Robert E. Lee.
