As per the Genesis record, it appears to be so... for sure by a physical distance. After the trial of Abraham to offer Isaac, Abraham returned back to Beersheba where he had lived for many days (probably for 15+ years already) according to Genesis 21:34 and 22:19. However, in Genesis 23:1, where Sarah's death is recorded (nearly 20 years from 22:19), it is mentioned that she died at Kiriath Arba (that is Hebron), where Abraham and Sarah had lived before.
I suppose that (near) loss of a child can cause great marital discord....
There is no mention in the Bible of Abraham and Sarah being separated at the time of Sarah's death. Genesis 23:2 states that Abraham went to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her after her death, indicating that they were together at the time of her passing.
Abraham married Keturah after the death of Sarah.
Sarah was barren
Nancy Lincoln gave birth to Sarah Lincoln shortly after marring Thomas Lincoln. The father of Sarah is unknown. Thomas Lincoln was castrated when he was 12 and was not the father of Sarah or Abraham. Sarah and Abraham were brother and sister and they were not married. Abraham and Sarah had the same mother, but different fathers. Abraham's father was Samuel Davis. Abraham Lincoln married Mary Todd.
Abimelech, the king of Gerar, took Sarah away from Abraham after God intervened in a dream to prevent Abimelech from sinning with her. Abimelech returned Sarah to Abraham and compensated him with gifts.

Abraham's sister's name is Sarah .
Abraham's wife was Sarah. When she reached old age without children, she urged Abraham to attempt to father a child with her servant, Hagar, in order to perpetuate his line. Abraham complied with Sarah's urging, and fathered Ishmael. Sarah later did give birth to Isaac, by Abraham. Some time after Sarah's death, Abraham remarried in his old age, to K'turah.
