People say Hitler is the person to blame for causing World War 2 because He deliberatly breached the agreements of the treaty of Versailles and invaded Poland. However, the agreements of the treaty of Versailles onto Germany were very harsh and would of break out war, Germany re-build it's Army, so it can defend itself, Germany re militarize the Rhineland because they lost it world war 1. Germany wasn't the only one who invaded Poland at the time, The USSR invaded Poland WITH Germany.
Anther fact the Hitler wasn't or isn't the only one to blame for world war 2 is that the allies known that Germany was re militarizing itself for at least 5 years before World War 2. So the allies were responsible because they didn't stop Germany when they knew about it
