Jewish law forbids a husband to seek a divorce for no reason. Anyone who
did that would become an outcast and forced to make restitution.
Divorce
moses suffered you to put your wives away. but from the beginning it was not so!
Many wives have abandoned husbands over the years. An attorney can file divorce papers and the husband will be granted a divorce.
Usually the husband really divorces the wife, but more than ever now, the wives divorce their husbands.
Loyal husbands do not allow their wives to cheat. They remain loyal and love their wives.
Ex-husband, or just ex. Nothing different really.
Why not
Husbands and wives today divorce for many reasons, some are here, another man or women in their lives, to much drinking, wifebeating, and some can be very silly to. Also not getting along, many arguments, and unhappiness.
My wife says "cuz husbands usually deserve it".
There is no prohibition against divorce in the Torah. Although the husband has to initiate divorce according to Jewish law, in cases of abuse, the husband can be forced to do so. The exception regarding no prohibition against divorce is that a husband can't divorce his wife due to illness or inability to have children.
