Who cares? Theologically, the answer is irrelevant, which means Christians can stop blaming Jews and Jews can stop being defensive. And people of both faiths can get back to disagreeing about more important things like whether you get more presents at Hanukkah or Christmas.

THE ROMANS KILLED JESUS. get it straight.

The Prophet's of Israel said it was God's will, though it is very complex a very drawn out. Who carried out the Act? The Romans, The Edomites (Descendents of Esua) and other pagans who were intermingled into the Jewish population through Assyria and Babylon. The Jews - Even though it appears so at first glance, were not even in charge of Israel at the time. Here are my notes.

The ruling dynasty of the Herod's were Edomites and Herod the Great, was an ldumean, Who_was_King_HerodBiography Herod the Great arose from a wealthy, influential Idumaean family. The Idumaeans, successors to the Edomites of the Hebrew Bible, settled in Idumea, formerly known as Edom, in southern Judea. When the Maccabean John Hyrcanus conquered Idumea in 130-140 BC, he required all Idumaeans to obey Jewish law or to leave; most Idumaeans thus converted to Judaism.

King Herod identified himself as Jewish and was considered as such by his contemperies [1], although according to The Torah, he would not be considered as such.

Edom: (red) the name Edom was given to Esau, the first-born son of Isaac and twin brother of Jacob, when he sold his birthright to the latter for a meal of lentil pottage. The country which The Most High subsequently gave to Esau was hence called "the country of Edom" and his descendants were called Edomites. Edom was called Mount Seir and Idumea also.

Book of Jashar (Biblical ref) "Then David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son, and he told them to teach the children of Judah the Song of the Bow; indeed it is written in the Book of Jasher" (II Samuel 1:17-18). Jasher 27:1-11 says that Esau kills Nimrod and takes Adams skins which made him a mighty warrier.

The Edomites are the descendants of Edom, i.e., Esau, according to Genesis 36:1-19. And according to Numbers 20:14-21, the Hebrews were refused permission to pass inviolate through Edom.Saul ben-Kish, anointed first king of Yisrayl, fought against the Edomites, I Samuel 14:47; "for YHVH so hated the Amalekites (descendants of Esau) that He commanded Saul to have no pity on them -- not even the women and children -- but to blot out the name of Amalek entirely." And according to I Kings 11:15,16, King David defeated the Edomites;

The Edomites became the vassals of the Assyrians, but attempted revolutions in 711 and 701 BC. And the Edomites allied themselves with Nebuchadnezzar when he destroyed Jerusalem in 586 BC, according to Psalm 137:7, which says, "Remember, O Most High, what the Edomites did on the day Jerusalem fell. 'Tear it down,' they cried, 'tear it down to its foundations!'" Nebuchadnezzar ceded portions to the Edomites after the fall of Jerusalem. This fulfilled the prophecy of Jeremiah in Jeremiah 49; and explains why Jeremiah had been exhorting the Hebrews to destroy the Edomites. Lamentations 4:21, Amos 1:11,12, and Obadiah 8-10, all prophecy the destruction of Edom.

Phoenicians " or " Phoinikes " " Phoinik-as " Phoinike "from phoinix, "red purple", and it also explained the use of Hebrew kn'ny for "merchant."is the name the Greeks gave the people of KENITES. Phoenicians were Canaanites , they cannot be differentiated either ethnically or culturally , from the general people of the Canaanites. Tyre and Sidon were the most powerful of the Phoenician states in the Levant. The Dead Sea Scrolls are written using the Phoenician alphabet. In the Inscription of King Eshmunazor of Sidon, COS 2.57, 4-13, he refer to deified royal ancestors of Canaanite kings, as their Phoenicians ancestors.

In Josephus' book quotes from Ammonius, an ancient grammarian who said: "The Judeans were such by nature from the beginning, whilst the Idumeans were not Judeans from the beginning, but Phonecians and Syrians; by being subdued by the Judeans and compelled to be circumcised, and to unite into one nation, they were subject to the same laws and became known as Judeans."

Josephus, From ANTIQUITY OF THE JEWS, Book 13, Ch. 9, Par. 1, writing about 95 A.D. said:

"Hyrcanus took also Dora and Marissa, cities of Idume (Edom) and subdued all the Idumeans (Edomites); and permitted them to stay in that country, if they would be circumcised and make use of the laws of the Judeans; they were so desirous of living in the country of their forefathers, that they submitted to the use of circumcision, and the rest of the Judean ways of living; at which time - - . they were hereafter no other than Judeans."

Herod and the "Herodians" were of Esau, and sought to destroy Yahushua.They will never accept Yahushua as the Messiah.

* Matthew 2:1-22

* Mark 12:13

* Matthew 22:16

* Mark 8:15

In I Chronicles 2:55 , The Kenites moved into Jerusalem and were now figured with the title of " Scribes" .

In 1 Maccabees {2:42} {7:12, 13} The Scribes ,again , [ who where The Kenites ] , joined a party of men called ,the Zealous Assideans . The Scribes, quickly through their public realignments words , acquired a great influence over the Hebrew people ,while the Levi priesthood ,lost's its prestige.

Under the Asmonean rule the Sopherim ,The Scribes ,became the leaders of a new party called , " The Pharisees " When The Pharisees seize authority from the Levi priests, the "traditions of the elders" replace YHVH Laws. The Pharisees created the Beth Din ha-Gadol (Great Legislature) as a lawmaking,law-transmitting and law-confirming body - an institution they did not learn of from scripture.

Why do people hate the Jews when it was the Italians who killed the Rabbi Jesus?

The Jews are blamed for the death of Jesus because it was the Jewish religious leaders who manipulated Herod and Pilate into crucifying Jesus by charging Jesus with breaking certain Jewish laws making him worthy of death. The Romans would have rather released Jesus that day and crucified Barabbas. But the Jewish mobs at the behest of the Jewish leaders clamored for the release of Barabbas and the crucifixion of Jesus.
