John Adams was s lawyer, president, patriot, and a man who helped get funds for the revolution in France. He was the lawyer for the British soldiers who were put on trial for the Boston Massacre. When asked why he said that people were innocent until proven guilty. He was an editor for the Declaration of Independence and was involved in the writing of the constitution. When Washington was made president Adams was his Vice President and he became the second President of the United States. He wrote books on what made good government ( we need to go back and read his words today) and was the father of 6 children. His farm was located just outside of Boston and his wife could watch the siege of Boston from their yard.
