The USS Arizona was a Pennsylvania class battleship, launched June 19, 1915. The only heavier ships at Pearl Harbor were the newer battleships, including West Virginia which was the newest and heaviest. It was not until late in the war that very heavy aircraft carriers such as the Midway class became as large as the largest battleships.
There are hundreds of harbors and ports in the UK where private, commercial and military ships may dock. The largest port in the UK is the Port of Felixstowe which welcomes over 3000 ships each year.
There were no British ships in Pearl Harbour on December 7, 1941 or any British warships anwhere near Hawaii on that date. Only American warships were allowed in Pearl Harbour.

The USS Arizona Memorial commemorates the men who died on the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. It is built over the remains of the USS Arizona. The Arizona was one of the ships sunk in the attack, and the remains of many sailors are still aboard.
I believe there are 2, the USS Arizona and the USS Utah. These ships were left submerged, but some of their equipment was removed and used on other vessels. The other ships were floated out and sent to shipyards for repair.
Several ships were in Pearl Harbor on the morning of 7 December, 1941. All of them were attacked and they all experienced significant damage. The Japanese military had destroyed the U.S. military presence in the Pacific. That had been their intent. Japan wanted to be undeterred as they marched across the islands of the Pacific. The USS Arizona was just one of the many ships that was destroyed that day. The Arizona became a symbol of the destruction that took place that day and the lives that were taken.
You've got it reversed; two battleships remain on the harbors bottom; USS Arizona and USS Utah, both battleships, but Utah had been redesignated a training/target ship. Both battleships still retain the bodies of crewmen lost during the attack and are tombs for those US Sailors.
No. If they were, much less people would have died and most of the ships would have survived. The USS Arizona memorial might not have had to exist.
