Maybe. Hitler had already gone to war against Soviet Russia in June 1941. Just beating the Russians would not have been easy. The British were also still at war with Germany as well. Hitler was not obligated to declare war on the US, following the US declaration of war against Japan, which came in response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Hitler's alliance with Japan would have obligated Germany to help Japan only of someone attacked Japan. Nevertheless Hitler did declare war on the US, so Hitler chose to go to war with the two most powerful nations on the planet within six months time. Had he not added the US to his list of enemies he might have eventually won against the British and Russians, but adding America as well would prove to be just too much.
