The US learned alot during Vietnam, and deployed that knowledge in January 1991...during Operation Desert Storm; one of history's most perfect military campaigns ever conducted. The mission was over-whelmingly successful, being accomplished within 45 days with minimal US fatalities, and minimal equipment losses, and a great reunification of the American people, as later stated by President George Bush Senior, "...We have beat the Vietnam Syndrome..."
