No. But I believe you are referring to 'Farragut Naval Training Station'which was used during World War II to train sailors in Idaho. It was also used as a prisoner of war camp for 900 German prisoners. The Training Station was on the southern end of 'Lake Pend Oreille' in northern Idaho. The nearest town would be 'Coeur d' Alene or Sandpoint, Idaho. Over 293,000 sailors trained at Farragut Naval Training Station. It only last 30 months as a training station and was closed June, 1946.

Sorry, it wasn't based at the University of Idaho at Moscow.

My dad, Jack W. Simpson Sr., taught Morse code and radio electronics to naval radiomen and U of Idaho. This was before he went over as a civilian for Macay Radio company as chief engineer at the army's radio relay station in Algeria.

Evidently there was because 2 letters from my Dad in 1942 & 1943 the return address was Chrisman Hall, US Naval Radio School, Moscow, Idaho.

But so far I have not been able to find anyting else about this radio school, but am checking.
