No. Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." The Bible continues to say that the earth was empty and formless. If there was life before Genesis 1:1, both God and the Bible are liars, and we are all doomed.

There is no way of knowing how long ago the first Genesis story (Genesis 1:1-2:4a) is supposed to have happened*, but there has been life on earth for several billion years. From a biblical point of view, the answer would be no, because God did not begin to create life until verse 1:11.
Footnote
*The second creation story, in Genesis 2:4b-25 and chapter 3, appears to say that life was created some six thousand years ago, but Leon R. Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom: Reading Genesis) says we must scrupulously avoid reading into one story any facts or notions taken from the other if we mean to understand each story on its own terms.
