I drive a 2005 Chrysler 300 Limited and this morning after about a 5 minute drive, the battery indicator light came on. I took the car home and parked it. Later today, I used a multimeter to test it. The battery was at 12.61 when off and 13.92 when on. So Alternator seems OK. Drove it again later today and no sign of the light. Also drove it with AC, radio, interior lights, and headlights on. Still no sign of the light. Was it just a false alarm?
Yes, it can just be a glitch. If you really have a problem you will soon know it. Until then rest easy.
