No wars were fought over Australia. The British were quick to defend their new territory from the French, who withdrew completely peacably when confronted and persuaded to forgo any interests in Australia. The Dutch had no real interest in the continent, either.
too many
your mom did with my mom.
Australia fought in wars with Britain because Britain OWNED Australia until after World War 2. The wars after that in which they fought together with the Brits were when they were doing United Nations military functions. They have not fought in any war because OF their desire to support Britain but because they are allies together in the United Nations.
No. There hasn't been any wars in Australia so far (phew) unless you count the mini war when the white people took over Australia and the Aboriginals weren't happy blah blah blah
Yes. In modern times, Greece fought in World War 2 and Korea. In ancient times, Greece fought the Persian Wars.
Oregon was involved in wars that the rest of the country was involved in, such as the Civil War, both World Wars, and the Gulf Wars. As far as their own wars, they fought in the Snake War, which lasted from 1864-1868. It was a war fought against the Indian tribes that lived along the Snake River. It left over 1,700 dead.
I know there was something about the Alamo
The ANZACS fought with the UK during both wars, so any ally of Britain was an ally of Australia and New Zealand. (i.e United States, France, Canada etc)
Yes!He fought in the Mexican American War.
Yes, for example: WW 1 , WW 2.
If you mean the northern states, they fought in the Civil War. Other than that one time, the US has always been united. Any wars which involved the north, involved the entire US. The US has, of course, fought in two world wars and many other wars.
they were never banned from any wars. Gay people have fought in all wars. They just couldn't serve openly in the US military until 2011.
